Hoist for Hospice 2026

Central Queensland identities are being elevated to new heights to bolster the provision of compassionate palliative (end-of-life) care and bereavement support services at Fitzroy Community Hospice.

10 CQ local identities will be hoisted up to 20 metres in the air in the work box of a crane! Each person needs to raise a minimum of $5,000 for Fitzroy Community Hospice to come back down.

When:
Wednesday 13th May 2026 from 6:30am – 9am

Where:
CQLX Gracemere
Crane will be visible from the Capricorn Highway

The highest fundraiser wins bragging rights and the ability to nominate where Hoist for Hospice 2027 is held.
