Fitzroy Community Hospice (FCH) is committed to managing personal and sensitive information in an open and transparent way, taking all reasonable steps to implement practices and procedures that will enhance accountability for its information handling practices and assure community trust and confidence in those practices.

FCH will only collect information which is necessary to provide health care services or appropriately manage and conduct FCH business. FCH will take all reasonable steps to ensure the personal information held is protected from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or inappropriate disclosure.


Individuals may contact FCH if they would like to access or correct the personal information that it held about them. To opt-out of receiving FCH marketing communications, people can select the “unsubscribe” link within emails, or request not to receive further information by email.

FCH will consider requests for refunds on a case-by-case basis, refunds will be granted under only limited circumstances. Applications for a refund should be made by email within 30 days of the date the payment was made. FCH is a not-for-profit charitable organisation, and FCH reserves the right to pass any bank or transaction charges for any refund processed onto the payer. If a payment is refunded, the associated tax receipt is no longer valid and should be securely destroyed. Please note it is your responsibility to submit only valid receipts to the Australian Tax Office.
