On April 13, 2021, members of the Fitzroy Community Hospice board met with Mayor Tony Williams and Cr Drew Wickersen to brief them on the Fitzroy Community Hospice project and discuss the enormous need in our community for a hospice service.
Funding Discussions
The Fitzroy Community Hospice Board have had several productive and promising discussions this month with Queensland Health and the Central Queensland Hospital & Health Service as we seek to secure a recurrent operational funding commitment.
Strategic Planning Workshop
On April 24, 2021, the Fitzroy Community Hospice Board members undertook a strategic planning workshop. The workshop proved highly valuable in consolidating our progress and outcomes so far and identifying our key priorities and next steps moving forward. A huge thank you to Judy Pidcock for sharing her time and expertise to facilitate this workshop.
